Fairytale Events Wedding

Fairytale Events planned Diana and Jacobs wedding on April 24th at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in Toronto.  The inspiration was Indian burgundy reds and golds, that were carried through in the florals and event space.  All the fabulous florals, decor and planning were fulfilled by Fairytale Events.

Meta Gallery Opening April 2

Meta Gallery is pleased to present Infinite Tapestry, new works by Mario Martinez, also known as Mars‐1. For his first solo exhibition at the gallery, as well as the inaugural exhibition at the new location, 124 Ossington Ave, Mars‐1
will present works on canvas, paper and wood including a large‐scale work measuring 4 x 9 ft. In addition, 2 recent bronze sculptures will also be displayed.

Infinite Tapestry will be on view from April 2 to April 25, 2010. Gallery hours are Wednesday through Saturday from12‐6 and Sunday from 12‐5. The opening reception will be on Friday April 2 from 7‐10pm. Artist in attendance.

Soirée Toronto Window at Yonge & Dundas

Canada Blooms

Canada Blooms took place March 17-21 at the Direct Energy Centre at Exhibition Place.  Melinda of Soirée Toronto was fortunate to be a part of the Canadian Institute of Floral Design team, in putting together a fabulous display at Canada Blooms amongst top floral artists.  The event theme was passion…can you tell the team decided to be unique and focus on anger.  It was truly an honour to have taken part in this event and to be in the presence of such talent.  Pictures of the hard work and the CIFD work of art.

Just Blo Me Bloor Street!

he he he… yes girls I got blown on February 12 at the opening of Blo Bloor West Village.  Blo is Canada’s 1st Wash, Blo, and Go concept type bar.  No scissors or colour at this place…they just ‘blo you’! Blo has a really simple concept as you only have 7 hairstyles to choose from.  It doesn’t get any easier than that, so if you have 30 minutes and $31 They’ll blo you too!
